The Friends of the Banks-Dolbeer Historic Home Restoration Project is a group of faithful volunteers who wish to see the farmhouse restored to its former glory and to be reused as a museum and cultural enrichment center for the community.
The journey to restoration has been long and arduous. The project has been fraught with economic depression and the passing of key altruistic members.
It is hoped that the current community will take up the reins and guide this project to fruition. Your support is needed by contacting Walled Lake City Council and encouraging them to maintain the vision to complete the project for the betterment of all.
